With the weather we're having

And all of the cool build threads - garage, bench, etc builds - I feel like a shit for not doing anything out in the garage.

We've had only a couple of really cold days and ZERO snow accumulation. So, I don't have any good excuse.

I think that I am worried that I'll get started and then the bad weather will hit and I'll be stuck.

I have to figure out a way to do a bunch of small projects that will get me moving forward out there.
Right now my biggest problem is storage. There's too much on the floor. That wastes vertical space.

You could build your self esteem by cleaning up your mess, building shelves and posting pics so we can undermine the progress you make by poking fun at your carpentry skills and the size of your beer fridge.

After all thats what we are here for right?

I'm doing my spring cleaning out there early... something to consider, DCF. I don't have money to work on the car or good stuff like that, but once I get some crap cleared out I'll be able to put up a couple of shelves I have and de-clutter further. I also have a nify NGK cabinet I'd like to hang up for small stuff. The shelves are too close together for things like spray paint, but I've got a lot of small crap I could put in there, which as you mentioned saves vertical space on further-spaced shelves.

Thankfully, a neighbor donated 5 gallons of diesel fuel to the project since he didn't need it. "When times get better, fill the can back up and bring it down."

ive been busting tail too much to bother posting...working on 2 shops multiple bikes and cars even riding mowers..too much all at the same time!!!!!!....the lancia is a fun tinker toy tho

Now that I've had my fourth and final Christmas of '11 I'll finish up my shelves in my garage. My only internal debate I have now is do I save that Ford van Dana 60 or do I toss it in the truck with thelast load of scrap I have lying around.

:D @Stretch.

Yeah, Doc. That's exactly what I need to do.
Clean the crap out and organize what's left.

I moved a cabinet out of the basement in the fall and that will make a great storage spot for tools in cases.
They tend to get scattered around as they get used.

My bench was (and still is) so bad, I found tools I'd replaced because I was sure I'd either lost or destroyed them. :D

I also found a lot of documents, one of which made me quit for the night and take a long walk. Emotional stuff from many years ago...

i actualy got my bench cleared off...found LOTS of stuff including tools...cleaned it with degreaser and carb clean...then prompty took a honda 125 prety well apart on it...i need a special socket
