Dang and Double Dang! I went out to a yard that I knew had Dodge trucks. They crushed most of their 70s and 80s trucks, but I want out there for that. Was after a starter for my '96 Avenger. Anyway, most of what they had was 94-newer on trucks, in fact thats all they had. Had a number of Durangos too. All of them pretty much wrecked out. I did find a tailgate for my Dakota in red even for $75.
But thats not what I need money for. No, he had a rolled out Rumble Bee out there with the 5.7 still in it! Priced the motor out, $1500 with the wiring. Fuck fuck fuckety fuck! Thats pretty cheap for a 5.7 and now I'm suffering here wishing I had the $$. I'd actually like to have the whole damn truck for the dash and such, would get retro-fitted into one of my old trucks, even the rearend!

:helpme:---everyday--- there are deals to be had all the time - either i show up to late or cant get there or shoetage of funds.. it,s not that i have deep pockets and short arms or a hole in my pocket it just happens. and the crazy thing is you know it would work and the deal is no touchy just look -- the real deal is if you have the cash you can have the stash... a friend once bought a car from the wrecking yard - got it home it sat for about 6 months the he go at it and stars to tear it apart so he can fix it up to drive - ha paid 400 for it. he takes the carpet out to look a the floor and finds in an anvolope 310 dollars. i never had any luck like that - maybe a socket or a buck or two in change but not that.. and it came in handy for him at thr right moment. he was on welfare waiting for unemployment to kick in and now he had his rent money and a bit for food for his wife and 2 kids.. he was happy. and thecar safetied out at 200 . so he made out alright. he had the car for about 3 years and sold for 200. so he did alright. now i try to look under carpets even if i dont own the car:bwuhaha::bwuhaha::bwuhaha:-- just kidding... honest ..... Jimmy did alright. some people have luck. :doh:....
