Windows Vista

:bwuhaha:Vista does indeed suck! When I got my laptop I was given a "complimentary upgrade" to Vista Home Premium. Well, I would've rather had a "complimentary downgrade" to XP. None of my old programs work on this computer now .

Still using the same install of Win2K I've had for 8 years (that's right, I've never had to resintall it). Paired with NAV Corporate 7.0 and Ad-Aware, it has never once given me even a lick of trouble.

Was, is, and will continue to be the best OS Microsoft ever devised.

As annoying as it is, mine actually hasn't caused me any real issues...YET.
However, I had a laptop (HP) that crashed as soon as I started it. Why? The built in camera, loaded form the factory blue screened me. To make matters worse...there was NO driver for the camera under the Vista compatibility umbrella. So basically I bought a new laptop that didn't work and its own software didn't support its own hardware. Way to go HP and Microsoft!!
*edit* Did I mention I was working from an Apple? :D:D

Other than the usual compatibility issues. (My iRiver MP3 player will not work with media player 11) I'm actually enjoying Vista.

Easier to use, and the controls actually seem to make sense - both in location and the way they work.

I used to own a Vista Cruiser that had a lot of Windows. Is that the same?:shifty:
