Will it sell this cheap?

I'm not sure if they use reserves on BaT, but I believe the seller can opt not to sell if he doesn't think the bid went high enough. My friend's correspondence with the fella with the pink/black top Duster concluded with, "I'll keep it in mind if I decide not to sell the car." The car was over $40K at that point.

It's a pretty car, but I don't know that it warranted a heck of a lot more than the final bid... maybe $25K, though. The '62s just aren't as popular as the earlier models, possibly because that was the debut of the non-letter cars or maybe because of the amputated quarter panels. It was certainly the last decent-looking 300 until '66, whatever the case.

I was thinking the same range. It looks like a nice car, but it's nothing really special so the price accords.

im probably one of the goofballs who actualy prefers them of the "big" cars of the 60s
Me too. I really like the idea of a big comfy leather seats and a drivetrain that's a kick in the ass. But not enough to own one.

The push button auto on this car makes me shy about it. That's foreign territory to me.

You could change the transmission, but imagine a B&M ratchet shifter in there and say no.
