Top Fuel racer Hillary Will emerged with only minor injuries from a spectacular testing accident Saturday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Reported breakage caused Will to lose control of her KB Racing dragster near the end of a 4.66-second 290-mph run. The cause of the accident is unclear.
Will was transported to UMC Medical Center as a precaution, where she was treated for a bruised arm and released.
The team reportedly will test with its backup dragster Sunday or Monday.

I was gonna say something similar. Amazing how they can build those things to take such abuse and only leave the drivers with minor injuries!! Impressive indeed!! Glad to hear she's ok! :giggedy:

It just amazes me those chassis can be so strong one moment and twist like a pretzel the next.
Good for her the injury was minor.
