Well I have been seeing my future wife for over a year, we just signed a contract to buy a home togather ( well she has put up all the cash to date and is primory on loan but it will be in my name as well after the divorce is done) see info on where home is. we are getting a good deal before the housing market went soft here they started this spec house see floor plan it is just off the golf cource and now they are dumping it well below what it was priced at. Over 30K in incentives then they threw in free AC.

This was the only home built with duel heating ( town changed requirments they made it required to add a 2nd heater then after this spec house was started they removed the code requirment)

The house is in dry wall now and may take 3 months to complete.

3 months to complete and it is in drywall already? How come so slow? We put them up from scratch in 3-4 months...just curious. :)

3 months huh? I would go nuts with impatience.:D Are you getting the 3 car garage option? You can never have enough garage space.;)
 
Nope it is too late for 3 car, delay now is cabinets have not been picked out, there is one cabinet builder they use and the lead times for cabinets has been going up now it is 8 weeks. too many new homes getting built here. But with the price dropping there will be less spec homes started.

I would be going nuts but I have a friend that let me and my car CAT move into part of his spare room, so I have a dry place to sleep. All my stuff is in storage with the 66 barracuda and a few nights a week I go up to Denver and sleep with the Girl Friend...

Prices on new housing have gone totaly insane- viewed a new duplex over in the Tacoma area last week that was being tripped for 120 plus with a puny one car that you couldnt open the doors on a B body in that they thought was the steal of the century. Huge city turd pond in the back yard for a view and a whole 5 feet of back yard. All realtors should be drawn and quartered.:doh: Im glad you are happy with your purchase wild.:)
 
Sounds like things are starting to look up for ya, Wild_1. Glad to hear good news from one of our Colorado Springs offices! :dance:

This is far better than staying with your girlfriend and a few nights a week travelling to sleep with your boyfriend :bwuhaha:
All kidding aside, Congrats on your new digs Wild 1. Just like good ole Dean sang, eveybody needs somebody.....sometimes.

thanks My friend really saved me I am paying off my bills, before it the house closes. Here is the kicker I trained him at intel, he is a temp employee making 1/3 what I make but he will not take any money for me and the cat. Some non car guys are OK and his wife and daughters are not bad eather. :bravo: His 15 yo daughter asked me out to a dance and I had to explane my GF & her mom would not be happy LOL.

It is nice to have a place to sleep for free....

Here is a first I have not even flirted with his wife unless you count smiling now and then. I must be getting old or I have learned to respect friendship.

Sorry I ment CAT not car I think you saw my fat cat. The future Missus will let me move the 66 cuda you dragged here into the new home.. Er garage.
 
Hey Bill, check out the dart er scamp thread, I will try to get more pics. This car would be an ultra cool driver if the man does not want an arm and a leg for it. Looks to be little old lady owned, under the hood is pretty nice except for road grunge and it has A/C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
