Why do they appear when not looking?

Jamies440

Divorced Bird
Strange, very strange. Helped a Buddy all day today, we were going to load his Duster up from another guys yard today, but it was muddy. Buddy told me about a '70-ish Newport in that yard that supposedly had a 440. Wasnt bad but had been sitting, for $1k. Well, I looked at the car today. I thought it was a 4-dr. I walked around and we talked with the guy and I noticed the grille was wierd for a Newport. Turns out the car was a '70 300 2-dr! Complete car exc. 2 wheels and someone stole the carb. He only wanted $600 for the car, reason Buddy didnt buy it was because he had always wanted $1k.

Car IS a T-code 440 car (non-TNT), is green, needs some quarter work on the pass. side, but otherwise isnt all that horrible. Bench seat/column shift, kinda low optioned really, green/black. Not even a vinyl top.

I couldnt get any pics of it, my camera is DOA, but yeah I'm going back for it! I hope its not locked up (he said he oiled down the cyls before parking), and if it isnt, it would be an easy car to put on the road! The rt. rear quarter is messed up behind the door and in front of the wheel and has some rust down low. has a mouse nest on it, but not as bad as the one in my Coronet.

I'm grabbing that sucker quick!

Oooooooohhhhhhhh a Chrysler 300. :)
