What happened?

What happened to the s.o.m.e. club? It's apparent that the fall fling or summer send off is NOT being held this year by the mopar performance group. There also doesn't appear to be a meet being held in Brampton either. The last official car show this year was Moparfest. Come on guys, step up to the plate. There's no way we should have to go till May without another official show. I can get the place, can anyone else provide some time and effort to make another show happen?

I've been talking to lots of Mopar guys in this area who are sick of paying rediculously high fees just to sell their stuff and show their cars. If I pull it off, we can come to a place , show our cars, sell our stuff without any of the bells and whistles. No DJ's, trophies or fees. Anyone game? :beer:

Things just spun out. I think the undoing was when we decided to have the meetings at other shows - just to make it more convenient. That kind of took the purpose out of things - or at least left us with no agenda for the meetings.


I know the intent is to get together and have a good MOPAR time, rather than follow an agenda, but I think we all wanted it to be about something as well.

I'd be willing to get back into things if I could follow someone's lead. I don't mind the work, it's the whole concept/strategy/planning thing that I kind of stall out at. I don't know how to put together a show.
