what brake booster?

Ok i have these two brake boosters and i want to put one on the 67 dart.:hmmm: I need to get a new master cylinder either way.

no idea what they are from but i am guessing a 74 ish duster
and the other i am guessing a 68ish dart


will the smaller (74ish) of the two fit in the 67 dart? (car at body shop)

the bigger one i do not have the brackets to mount it ... unless they are still buried somewhere :hmmm:

The big one looks like a C-body unit. The first one you posted looks to be the correct A-body unit.

i agree with cow on the second being from a van..in fact im almost dead positive on that

the first one tho ..im not sure about the booster itself as the shape aint quite right for what im used to seeing on an A.....
HOWEVER the "step up" bracket and linkage are indeed REQUIRED for an a-body to run a booster

with an oversized MC and proper proportioning you can actualy get even better brake feel and ease

The first one looks just like the one I pulled off the '75 Valiant.

I'm not much help on this one since I consider all brake boosters to be scrap metal, but I agree the first one looks like a late A-car unit.

The booster with the step-up bracket was used in V8 A-bodies for engine clearance.(very necessary for a BB)

The other looks to be mid-late 60's.
