Ok, i was just scrounging e-bay to see if there was anything intresting for my Dakota (mainly used body panels considering the junkyards around here feel they're selling a "good" panel with rust and dings for $75  ), and i came acrossed an auction of a low milage 3.9. It was marked at like $1500 or something and he kept saying how the 3.9 magnum is a very hard to find motor (well perhaps any engine from the 90's with low milage is hard to find) but still....i don't get it :wtf:

Hard to find? Have they tryed looking for an original Hemi with a car to match it? :D

actully yes, and that may be the route i go, i was just looking to see if we had any deals out in the yards...we got parts, but they are no deals compared to new ones, thats for sure. And with Browns of Two Rivers within good driving distance, its real tempting to buy new when the time comes. I'm just not a pro painter, so to make these things last is my conceren.

the 3.9's are rare:jagoff: ...like 350 chevys and 5.0 fords. Is he nucking futs?:bwuhaha: Is the Dak still wrapped around it? I got a COMPLETE 3.9 a couple months ago for free...and I'm gettin a steel crank for 440 for $50 Friday...is that a good deal?
