How many of you have disconnected your cable to watch your favorite programs on the computer? I'm seriously thinking about ditching our satellite provider. Just curious how many others are the doing the same and who can give any input on their likes and dislikes.
hmmm... I'm still wrestling with the whole hooking up the computer to the TV deal.
I mean I can do it. Heck, I did it before anyone thought it was possible.
And my TV has a PC connection so it would dead easy.
It's the whole putting th PC in a place where it's purdy issue.
I've started to build my own media PC countless times... I just always found something that limited what I wanted it to do. We call it feature creep in software development.
As for content, I signed up for Joost and really haven't spent much time with it. Think of it as the SETI version of TV. You share your bandwidth to help broadcast content...
Other than the last fwe episodes of Bullrun that my DVR wouldn't record properly, I haven't really sat down to watch a full TV show..
http://www.tv-links.co.uk/ i use this website not to bad and they have a pretty good selection . but thats pretty much if you want to watch older stuff . some very hard to find shows on there .
