Was just kinda wondering

i have seen alot of demons in my quest to buy one, but i have never seen one like the one i bought (sizzler style black out hood, and white stripes) [smilie=e: ....now im yet to see the fender tag, [smilie=e: but im wondering if any of you guys have ever seen this combination on this color car before....i personally think it looks bad@ss, but if anyone has seen this before or has a picture please post it so i can see what the finished product looks like [smilie=e:

From what I've found, the white stripe looks to be an option. I've found pictures of black side stripes and white side stripes. Guess you'll have to check your tag when you get it. As for the picture, I found yellow and red but no blue.

The side and tail stripes were available in black or white. I have seen a brown '71 sizzler with the black on the hood, and white side stripes.I think the sizzler style stripe option was only available in black (I could be wrong), I have never seen it in any other color.

That's what I told Lawn Darts (he's my son). We've been to alot of shows and couldn't remember seeing a car like this. The side stripes and tail panel stripe was optional either black or white......that hood stripe is always black. If I remember correctly the hole hood stripe isn't tape....only the outer 1/8", the majority of the stripe is organsol! [smilie=e:

I just looked thru 35mb of demon pics I have, all the sizzler stripes are black ( with the exception of one that the owner repainted blue). I believe only the outer pinstripes were decals and the large center section was painted. It could be that the entire thing was paint also. Here is another white/black Demon

The hood stripe was always black, and the large center area is paint (Organosol--which sounds to me like a chemical for dissolving your wiener). The outside stripes are vinyl.

The Sizzler stripes were part of that package, which didn't include any side stripes. If you ordered the side stripes you could get them in any color you wanted as long as it was black, white, or red. I'm not sure if they were available in reflective black, which to me is the pinnacle of cool unless you're taking flash pics.

Was the Sizzler option Dodge's version of the Twister? Seems to me every one I've seen is a 318. A fella down the street from me has a Lemon Twist '71 Sizzy in mostly original paint... 318 auto with a houndstooth bench, just wasting away in the yard.

yea i think it does only come in a 318 and or lower, i have seen them as a /6 but never a 340
