Waiting on pics...

I talked to my friend with the '71 Charger R/T today, and he told me he has added another Mopar to his ever-increasing stable.

Apparently, he purchased a 13,000-mile '81 Mirada CMX 318 that was only owned by two Chrysler executives, and is as original as one can get. It's white with a white simulated convertible top with a red leather bucket/console gut, and he's not found an option it was built without (except for clashing options--such as not being able to get T-tops or a moonroof on a simulated convertible). I guess it looks showroom-fresh, and I pestered him repeatedly for pics, pics, pics.

Should be a nice addition to the family, which includes his E5 red '71 R/T 440/4-speed/3.54 Dana, '71 E5 Duster Twister 318/console auto/8¾", and '79 Chrysler 300 E58/console auto/3.21 9¼" with a factory moonroof .

Now if I could just convince him to dump that blasted IROC. He'd be all Mopar then, since the wife drives an '03 Caravan and he's also got a '99 Ram Quad Cab.
