That's pretty wild. I'd like to see what they did with the suspension, don't look like a truck frame was tossed under there...:hmmm:

theres a truck frame under there take a better look..its just well hidden

the "right" way to do it in my eyes would be to make a 1/4inch c-channel that coppied the stock unibody framerails and attatch all the 4x bits to it

I don't see any evidence of a truck frame; to tuck it in that closely they'd have had to cut the unibody rails off the thing. I see some channel in the front, but I doubt they cut off the whole original frame... I think it's just reinforcement.

I'm tellin' ya, that's an F/M/J-car front end with some sort of wacky bad-homegrown lift... and the front wheels are a dead giveaway that it's 2WD. Ain't never been a 4WD front axle that would allow wheels with that small a center register (the hole in which the center cap is sitting)--not even the '70s Dodge full-time 4WDs, and forget anything really early as their hub registers were huge.

Indeed, must be one helluva steering shaft. :hmmm:

The more I look at it the more I like it...certainly different.

And the banjoe strumming was heard alll about the county, and the older folks new Lucky was gonna get him some.......:shifty:

looks wierd up front but i beg to differ on the hub center..its bigger than it looks to be..so im not so sure it isnt 4wd

i brightened croped and enlarged it to get a better look

Still looks too small to me... but I'm not a truck guy. I just relate what I've seen.

Add to that the fact that you'd be able to see the transfer case and the driveshaft from that angle, and I'm sure it's 2WD and a lifted FMJ front end.
