Volkswagen has been discussing a potential partnership with officials at Ford for many months, and this week VW boss Herbert Diess confirmed that would likely include assembling VW vehicles in Ford factories in the U.S. The German automaker is playing nice with the Trump administration in the face of threatened tariffs on imports.
