Various stuff...

Dr.Jass

Pastor of Muppets
I went seriously into the hole when buying a new air compressor, and I need to dig myself out of it a little...

Holley 800 double-pumper, list #4780, absolutely unmodified. Installed and run on a 350 Chevy for less than two hours, then sat for years atop the engine while the car was stored because it "ran like shit". No kidding; a 750 vacuum-secondary cured the problem. Should be rebuilt due to sitting. $175 or I'll toss in a kit for another $25.

Weiand LA tunnel-ram setup, complete with wildly-modded carbs and Enderle (Edelbrock) side-mount linkage that will work with an OEM throttle cable. Both carbs are Holley 1850s with the following mods:
  • Air horns milled off, throats ported to match up to K&N Stubstacks
  • Converted to secondary metering blocks (using jets, rather than plates) with all-new parts.
  • Converted to center-hung float bowls, which means both carbs are dual inlet.
  • Converted to quick-change secondary-spring setup.
  • Moroso clear sight plugs for all four fuel bowls included.
  • A pair of blue-gasket rebuild kits is included; I'd rather not assemble them with jets that won't work for your application, only to have you take them apart again to change 'em.
The carbs should flow nearly 700CFM each with the mods, and though the tunnel ram has been professionally repaired at one corner it's perfectly functional. The weld will clean up with a little effort, leaving the repair unnoticeable. $700 OBO, which is less than I have into it. Add $50 for a pair of Holley triangular air cleaners (not the fire-starting "bug eye" type).

15x7 police wheels. I'm never going to use 'em. Blasted, primed, and painted but the painting was done by me for an unfinished article wherein I'd attempted to demonstrate mistakes. They don't need total refinishing, just minor sanding and a new coat of paint over the epoxy primer and existing paint. $250 firm.

Sartorius digital paint scale, great for engine balancing (pistons, rods, etc.). It will need adjusting and calibrating once you get it because of shipping, but you can do this easily at home. Accurate to 1/10th gram, max 2Kg. Originally sold for over $2K, I paid $280 on eBay used. $125 OBO.

'78 360 block with caps. Cleaned, magnafluxed, and rough-honed for .030" overbore. Will need final honing once you've got your pistons. $100, pickup only.

'88 360-4v, complete minus carb and accessories (alternator, PS pump, exhaust manifolds) as well as their bracketry and drives. Manifold to pan, $200. Pickup only.

Factory 1966 Ford FE aluminum 4v intake, casting date 12/65. The only markings are the casting date and FoMoCo; I have no idea of correct application but I know it's not a common piece. $250 OBO.

Early LA or 318 poly forged-steel crank. Will require balancing for later 318/340 applications with good rods. $100.

C-body axle housing and shafts. Can be narrowed by Moser and others for A-body usage inexpensively. Housing is blasted and in nice shape, $100.

Brand-new 11.75" Mopar brake rotors, so popular in swaps, still in the factory packaging, $70 for the pair. I will not seperate them.

1970-74 LA/4-speed aluminum bellhousing, no inspection cover, $40.

1970-74 B/RB/Hemi aluminum bellhousing, cracked but an easy fix for the local welding shop, no inspection cover, $150.

Mitsubishi TD05-12A (Starion/Conquest 2.6L) turbocharger, worked well when pulled after injector meltdown, $40.

Set of Conquest/Starion wheels, 16x7 front, 16x8 rear. Good condition but will require minor mods to fit RWD Mopar applications, $150 for the set.

1 pair Bridgestone Potenza G009 tires, 225/50R-16, less than 1,000 miles on 'em and no strange treadwear, $50/pair.

1 pair Goodyear Eagle GT-II tires, P205/55R-16, same condition as the Bridgestones, $50/pair.

I may have something you need; contact me unless it's sheetmetal. That I haven't got, nor will I up here in the land of salt.

Prices do not include shipping. "Pickup only" means at the very least, you come here for it. If possible, we'll meet somewhere to avoid shipping hassles.

Do you have an Idea of shipping weight on the LA bell, and can you find a box big enough to put it in?

I would estimate 20lbs. maximum, and yes I have shipping boxes. I actually have 6 of these bellhousings; one's for the LeBaron, one's for the Imperial, and one's cracked in a non-critical place. The other three can go; I'm tired of tripping over them.

This might be good timing. The rotors on the wagon are warped to heck!! I used spindles, rotors and calipers from a 73 Newport, will the ones you have Doc work for me?

I don't think so, Cow. I'm pretty sure the C-body rotors are specific. I'll see if I can cut you a hell of a deal on some, though...

Fire sale on this stuff... occupational shake-up. Accepting offers on any of it, as long as they're not stupid.

Rotors are gone, some of the tunnel-ram stuff is gone (I still have the carbs, linkage, and StubStacks but the kits and air cleaners went away).

After three previous nibbles on the Holley, I think I might have one on the line to buy it... I'll know more later.

I really need this stuff gone.

As broke as I am, I just couldn't do it. I e-mailed pics to the interested person, and got an excited phone call back.

I stopped him and asked, "What are you building?"

His response was that he was building a 350 Chevy for his plow truck, with an Edelbrock Performer intake, "double humper heads" (that's what he said), long-tube headers and an RV camshaft.

I had to tell him the carb was way too much for what he was doing and he'd be far better off finding himself a 3310. :(

I need the money, but not so badly I'm going to be a dick about it.

The small-block steel crank is no longer available.

I will likely be making a scrap run or two soon... make offers before this stuff gets melted down.
