anyone got an old 727 auto trany they arent using that i can drop in my dakota? if not anyone know of a good place i can get parts to beef up my trany in the phoenix area?:huh:

The trans in your Dakota is computer controlled and any attempt to use a 727 in it's place will only cause more headaches than it's worth.
Unless you go oldschool with the drivetrain and eliminate the computer and fuel injection system entirely........
