Make sure you get a later one designed for the spool-type mount, rather than the shit-biscuit peel-a-part fold-over style.
I have one from a later B-car with an exhaust bracket on it... perfect condition. even freshly blasted. I'm not sure if the holes will line up but I think they will; the exhaust bracket can be cut off since you likely wouldn't need it. Let me see if I can dig it oot of the garage.

I can't remember is the tranny mount is in it or not, but if it is, it's probably getting crunchy. You'll want to replace it anyway.

If I were you, XL, I'd go with the piece 71GTX has... the '72 is the fail-safe through-bolt "spool" type, rather than the failure-prone early style which a stock 318 can shred in relatively short order.
Yeah, it'll work. The later F-car stuff is different, and I think the '73-up B-body stuff is too. I no longer have any early stuff lying around to compare, unfortunately. I don't know what happened to the one out of the Road Runner, now that I think about it... [smilie=e:

4 speed ones are different,,but 66-69 auto are the old style shit biscuit,70 -72 new style ,and 66-72 all use the same trans x-member,and the holes for mounting the 70 up are the same as pre 70
