Time for my weekly Martini and cigar-NE cigar dudes on here?

LAWFISH

"A MOPAR FOR EVERY MOOD"
Well, the race is over, I did my required amount of yard work on the 2 1/2 acres of man made hell and its time for a rocky patel 1990 and a Martini, this one is a KETTLE ONE vodka martini. i prefer Grey goose, but its almost twice the cost at COSTCO, SO:huh: its Kettle one this time around, as money is tight.

Any cigar smokers out there on thsi board, here is a HUMIDOR I am working on building.

Oh and I am RUMBLON on this board, thats my 38 Plymouth Business coupe name!!!!!

I smoke Antonio y Cleopatra greens twice a year, along with drinking a couple of Martinis, in honor of the old man. I am by no means a cigar conniseur.

However, martinis cannot be made with vodka. Sorry, but vodka martinis are for flaming pussies. Gin's where it's at.

Regrdless, if you're going to buy semi-premium vodka, Belvedere leaves Grey Goose in the dust.

You know you are correct. I used gin, Yanqueray for 25 years. But then a year ago, gin started giving me the worst headaches. No can use--any more. but I agree, I also used Blue saphire. The gin just KILLS me now. I dont know why.

So pussy or not, I still get my grove on.:bravo:

Hell, my Mom and Dad were thrifty and their martinis were made with Fleischmann's. Bleah.

Seriously, try Belvedere. You'll feel more Mopar-ey, and it's a much better vodka than Grey Goose. It's usually a little less expensive, too. If you don't like it, I'll refund twice what I charged for the recommendation. :D Good stuff.

Antonio y Cleopatra grenadiers, maybe not so much... but that was Dad's brand, so there I am. Thank God I only smoke 'em twice a year.

I'm not smokin stogies anymore, and while I don't drink martinis, I do drink vodka.

How do I take it? In a glass.
When I'm being social, I'll throw in a couple of cubes of ice and splash it with some distilled water to wake up the aromas and flavours - not much different than drinking Scotch, really.

I buy some good stuff for drinking and some relatively cheap stuff for everyone else to mix with. They're happy to get Smirnoff, so I'm happy to not give them a Grey Goose smothered in orange juice. (Poor Goose.) I like Kettle One as well.

A couple of others that are interesting are: Danzka and Hendrix Electric.
Okay, I'll admit that I bought them because the bottles are neat, but they do go down pretty nicely. The Danzka comes in a spun aluminum bottle. Hendrix comes in a frosted bottle with a purple tinge to it. I find I NEED water and ice with the Hendrix, though.

Gin? Tanq is my favourite. Beefeater is my minimum "settle-for."

All that said, I think I've had a single glass of red wine in about a month's time.
I'm just not drinking.
