So since i decided to make my own stainless steel fuel tank i borrowed the tig from work. I have never used a tig welder before so i am on a bit of a stiff learning curve.
My father tig welded aluminum 30 some odd years ago and vagly remembers but does know how to solder with his oxy/propane torch and his years of arc welding should be of some help.
What tips does anyone have for this steep learning curve? I know how to mig and i can arc (compared to my fathers welds mine look like a baby did them):shifty:
