i found this out a long time ago, but i thought i would share if no one knows this fact

if you have a scratched CD/DVD that will not read on your player. try spraying Pledge (coffee table cleaner stuff), ask the wife she will know where it is, [smilie=e: and wiping it off with a towel and the player will read it for a little while. Works like a charm on DVD's [smilie=e:

I used pledge to polish out the scratches in the lexan windshield of my circle track car. It also works great on motorcycle windshields. Not only does it polish out the scratches but it makes the bugs much easer to clean off. It also works great on the face shield of snowmobile helmets. The lens will not fog up if you apply it before you head out into the cold.
