http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190061244325&fromMakeTrack=true

the thing that pisses me off is that they never say its not a real rr 440 car . they just say " THE REAL DEAL " now if we were to revert back in time aboot 6 years ago it may have been me who bought this car . because all i wanted was a numbers matching BIG BLOCK MOPAR and a 4spd would have been a bonus .
did i know i bought what i bought in 01 ? nope i had no clue i trusted the guy that sold me the runner and i lucked out big time .
but i really feel somebody is going to get ripped off on this one .

im done with my rant . [smilie=f: :mad:

theyre a bunch of assholes.... wasnt the 400 the only BB available in 73? anyway i agree with you Rav.... it pisses me off too when they false advertise shit like that.... they think just because its a "RR" and has a BB it's original.... and most people dont know otherwise.... just Email the seller and give em a ration of shit....

With the lack of detail in that ad, I'd say it's more of a case that they just don't know MOPARs at all.

21 = 2-door sedan
3 = 1973 Model
G = 318ci/150hp(1973-74) with 2-bbl V8
R = Windsor, ONT.
291556 = The 191556th car produced.

wording.

it is a true 440 car. there is a true 440 in it. Is it a real, numbers matching car? No. Allll in the words. :(

No offence Rav, but I'm sure getting tired of all this "true" this and "numbers matching" that.

IMO, It's taking a lot of the fun from the hobby and shifting the focus from what these cars were origionally all about.

It just about breaks my heart to hear 'Cudas & Roadrunners spoken about in the same manner as Corvettes and Stutz's...

I have NEVER cared about numbers matching on a car.... chevy's are only worth something if they're numbers matching... chryslers are worth something just because of what they are.... which is GREAT.....

relisted, changed "the real deal" to "a nice car"

It is a nice, pretty car, number matching or not.

The shit in the salad turns out to be a crunchy little carrot called dishonesty or lack of knowledge.

OK let's say I wake up a little bit hung over walk up to the fridge and pull a bunch of stuff out of the crisper throw it all on the cutting board, chop it up and toss it in a bowl. then douse it with the skimpy remains of 4 various dressing bottles that span at least 2 pesidential elections. A chef's salad? no, but a tasty treat indeed, no one died, saved some money.

Now.. If I ordered the chef's salad at Perkins, and it came out looking like breakfast I'd be pissed! especially if it didn't have factory smudges on the tater wedges.

none taken , i do like #s match fact coz it makes the car worth more , CHRYSLER as far as i know are the only TRUE #s matching cars atleast from 68 and up coz the engine and trans are stamped with the serial #s of the VIN . if the motor and trans are gone the car can no longer be #s matching . now as for the GM rides to make a #s match car all you have to do is get a date code correct motor and bam its #s matching
i think this is one reason why the values of MOPARs has gone thru the roof .

:bravo: :bravo:
