The radiator support is lower but the body looks to be about as low as my wagon. I need to put a floor jack under the frame rails to lift it up so I can get the hoist arms under it.

no... what sucks is it needs a fuel pump and i dont have access to a lift... so my bro and i are gonna do it the other way... which is liftin the bed off of it.... talk about fun fun fun

[smilie=2: how did I get volunteered for dis shit :wtf:

I guess I could supervise :bwuhaha: :bwuhaha: :bwuhaha:

lol get some 2x6's and simply make a "stacked" ramp enuf to get a jack under it...tho a bed removeal isnt half bad..6-8 bolts and it should come right off...and there not half as heavy as they used to be

Someone stole your bumper...:D

Either way you need to get it up in the air to get at the bolts, without the aid of a hoist lifting the bed would be the safer way to go.
I prefer to drop the tank on the Dakotas as it's faster...but I also have a hoist. ;)

The neon I had was low like that, every goshdamn driveway, and parking lot the exhaust would scrape. Talk about pain in the ass, and embarrassing.

nah no one stole the bumper.... some retard in an 80's gm product mangled it when they rammed the freakin thing and tweaked the frame.... and beeper... im upset that you didnt read my christmas song.... i even mentioned you in it.....

I used to have a '73 cadillac hearse. I sold it to a guy who decided he HAD to have it lowered. So, he put a brick on the ground under the frame on each side, and used my torch to heat the springs until it was touching the bricks. What neither one of use anticipated was that the driveshaft was gonna end up scraping the floor from underneath. After we chopped the top off the car and made a pickup truck out of it, I then had to take the torch and cut a long rectangular strip out of the now-pickup-bed to let the driveshaft come on up through the floor. I used to ride around town with some other folks in the back of that thing, watching the driveshaft turn. It was a good incentive to not drop anything while the car was in motion!
