Ok guys and gals, fall of 2007 I'm going to Japan for school. Aside from that, I've got job offers up the ass to teach english over there to school children up to rich business men (as well as a wedding minister job :wtf: . Actully, western culture is getting more popular over so there are they are willing to pay a white guy to don churchly atire, say a few things, and there, I'm paid $500 on the spot :bwuhaha:almost as good as being a man-whore )

As well as my contact over there to help me striaghten things out has adviced me to make a decsion now. Obviously I'm staying in college until I have my four year degree in hand, but career wise, I think I've made up my mind, there seems to be too many things that are leading me in this very dirrection that even a blind man would see these things. So it seems I've found a career, now I just have to make it through college in one piece.

I would love to visit Japan, I think I would never stop laughing.

Just they're Ads I find hilarious let alone the sound of the language. :D

Lived in Okinawa, Japan for 6 years..... Trippers PARADISE it is!! (that's LSD laden individdle for the slean and cober:shifty:)

Does sound like you have a good plan, to be getting job/career offers before graduating must make you feel good.
There may be a few mopars in Japan, not many I would think. Can you imagine how much the freight would cost to have one shipped over there? Who knows......maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. :doubt:
Good luck 66D100!

What is that career, by the way, teaching English? And congratulations! How proficient are you in Japanese? I figure after 4 years you will be fluent!

Well, at this current point, I don't know enough to be considered a moron in their society, I'm still just a hena gaijin (strange foreinger).

Yeah Dippy, some of their commercials, and TV shows are funny as hell, alot make no sense at all, maybe thats just the apeal of them.

mannye, yes the career is teaching spoken english, perhaps some writen as well, depending on the school and how they want me to form my teaching curiculum. Most Japanese can understand writen english, and sometimes you can speak english to them, its just a matter of them getting back to you in english, thats the hard part.

Oddly enough I could even be a model over there too :bwuhaha:

But I'll stick with teaching and the occational wedding  .

Just got out of one of my finals today, I feel pretty confident that I damn near aced that one, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. Though if all goes well, I'll only have one B on my grade report, the rest are A's. Not to bad of a start for a guy who's been out of school for a few years. :giggedy:

I take it you won't be teaching spelling.

apeal, actully, atire (not 2 just atire), striaghten

Hope you have a good time over there. $500 to marry other people seems pretty good. If that doesn't work out, you can always fall back on the man whore thing, so life's good no matter what.:giggedy:

[smilie=J: yup, just spoken, as you can see. I'm used to spell check, and besides, most of the guys on here rely on pictures anyway. :D

Let me tell you how stupid I was (Still am).
Took my last final exam at Arizona State University back in May, 1977. That night, loaded up the truck and left on tour with my band. Fast forward to 1999. Wife says: Why don't you call ASU and see what classes you need to get your diploma? So I call ASU, and after a week of tracking down my transcripts etc., they call me back and say: $15 US and it's yours. So for 22 years, I had a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and didn't even know it.

Wow, I'm not sure if I should laugh at that or not :shifty:

At least you got your degree [smilie=J:

Started playing guitar in '67; switched to bass in '72. Played mainly rock, but some country. (what the hell, I was a music whore.) Started getting serious senior year of college, much to the detrement of my grades. Toured AZ, NM, NV, and SoCal till the band broke up in Dec '77. Got out of music and deeper into Mopars until '82. Sold the Mopars in Jan '83 and opened a recording studio. Sold the studio in '89 anticipating the birth of 1st child. Still have my custom built bass, and oldest boy has absconded with my acoustic guitar, but most everything else is gone now.
