There may be hope for DC yet...

Of course that could be said back when they came out with the original Charger concept car too. The decent looking one that is. If they screw this up I think they'll loose quite a few more Mopar faithfull to the dark side. What they did with the new Charger was a low blow. After they showed that they knew how to remake a good one first, and then made into what it is today... [smilie=l: I swear if they fuck this up they are going to loose a HUGE market. Most of the true Mopar fans will probably say :finger:to DC if they get teased and then screwed over again. (<--Have fun with that one. LOL!)

First mod? Pull out he crosshair grill and smash it, shit on it, light it on fire and then piss on it for good measure. And then mod the center of a '70 Chally grill to fit.

I like it. Really like it. the only thing I hate, is that if they do produce it, everyone with an arsehole is gonna have one. :(

That's pretty nice. I don't really care much for E-bodies as a whole, but still this is much better than the "Charger" Taxicab ...

I'm betting it will be priced out of reach of most of us. Performance cars only for the wealthy seems to be Mercedes thing...

Here's hoping I'm wrong.:helpme:

it will come out with a price tag of over 50 grand.
Or they will decide that the market does not need a 2 door retro car and then build it like a front wheel drive daytona

Sexy they look and i wet my shorts for this model, but i have a soft spot for challengers

LOL looks to me like they actualy just modifyed a 70s chally with a nose and tail.....heres to hopeing they screw it up more

Interesting, but dont hold your breath people. It COULD happen but it sounds too good to be true. Ive had a concept drawing similar to that on the wall in here for a few monthes now and it gets a lot of comments. I guess I too could cut down a dakota grill and stuff it in my runner for shits and giggles and steal the tail lights from an olds for the back. NOT!:dgt:

I say that if it ever does see production, they only offer it in a 4cyl or a 6...:doubt: Lately DC couldn't make anything that looks that cool with the balls to back it up....you either get performance or style lately.:dgt: But stuff in the 6.1 Hemi and I'm all for it:dance:

You forgot a couple steps: Film it then send it to DC :D

Difficult proposition there:hmmm:

Step 1: Pull out the crosshair grill. Using the proper tools would be too civilised. I'd break out he saws-all and gently whack that POS outta there. saws-all's are generally two handed tools unless you're the Toolinator or something.

Step 2: Smash it. We're talkin' big tools and farm implements here. No free hands for this step.

Step 3: Shit on it. It'd be kinda tricky to see the camera in order to focus. I also wouldn't want to try to wipe with the camera.

Step 4: Light it on fire. I'd be too busy squirting the entire bottle of lighter fluid on the flames to hold the camera.

Step 5: Piss on it. Sorry, two handed job there:dgt:

Of course I could get a shovel and scoop the smoldering mess into a box and ship it to them....

I'm sure that problem will be easily solved by after market true 70's style grilles:dance:

You need a tripod or a friend willing to man the camera :D

ARNIE: "Isn't that what you're supposed to do with shit?... Scrape it up with little shovels?"

i think it looks pretty damn good. the grille looks kind of 71'ish while the tail looks decidedly 70. stick at least 425 hp with a six speed and the viper better be getting a power bump because that challenger will be breathing right on its ass  i see them doing it and for under 40k with all the goodies. ill take mine with a power top and a white gut
