It'd be a blast as a recreation vehicle.

I think it's limited as a military, it is limited.
They sure seem to stick to the trail in that video. A bike could do that and more with one that has good clearance.

The remote control is probably the best feature.

Lot's of questions too - I'm sure they have the answers already.
what is the range?
How do you recharge/refuel in the field?
How heavy is it if you have to "portage" it?
How much can it really tow - was that dummy in the trailer a life-like weight?
Can you mange it hands free so that you can fire a weapon while moving? Otherwise, you're a duck in the carnival shooting range.
 
Of course when you get tired of standing up you put your Shredder in the back of your Rip Saw and the giggles continue

agreed remote control seems most practical and that dummy looked like he was bouncing around pretty easy IE light weight


as for the rip saw..that thing still makes me giggle....but...id LOVE to know what happened to there quad size unit they built that thing REALLY looked like insane fun

I've had a lot of giggles and shits with the 6 and 8 wheeled Argos, but they are really limited in power. I'd like to get a used one cheap and upgrade to a Hayabusa or turbo GS1100, but a quad sized Rip Saw would trump ten of those. You'd need a G suit, a well beyond 8 point harness, and to be safe - a parachute.

If you're talking about the one they called the "Badger", they don't even know where it is! They built it for the military and it's missions are TOP SECRET. They mentioned that in their tv show they had briefly.
 
Badger looks like a low speed item only. No padded interior of multi point harness for the old body toss.
Unless this is just the very preliminary test of a prototype. I'd like to see it at 70 or 80 miles and hour jumping rivers and shit.

yeah that looks like a WAY early proto to me......almost looks like a modded bobcat lol.......i recall one of the later versions going straight thru the wall of something

ive seen and worked on one argos ..patheticly slow....but yeah i imagine with a busa in in the crazy factor would be insanity

That was my thought too....Man I love that rip saw!! Gives me goose bumps and a big $hit eating grin every time I watch that...:2thumbs:
