Today, Ram debuted its Rebel X concept at SEMA. It has the usual custom paint, including a bright blue line to remind us that Mopar was there; 35 inch mud tires; and numerous Mopar parts.
More to the point, it also has a one-inch lift.
A Ram spokesman told Allpar that there was no lift kit; instead, the company simply had the air suspension go up to its highest setting and stay there as the new normal, in much the same way as stock Rams Rebels are made to be higher from the ground than ordinary Ram 1500s.
This might be a one-off attention-getter, but it might also be an experiment to see how people react to a taller Ram Rebel. (...) →
