The publc has spoken. Will DC listen?

i cant belive im saying this but i kinda like that craparo ..its got alot of originality behind it..while the chally...looks like they took a mold of the originals and shaved some corners and called it done

You like that pile??? I like the body and the lines but that is the butt ugliest nose I have ever seen on any Chevy:sick: Rework it to a retro 69 SS hidden headlights and I might consider liking it :D I still love that Chally. The fact that it looks just like a 70 is cool as hell! :)

Dude....but that's why it's so cool! Remember a while back when Nissan re-made the Datsun 240-Z using the exact same body panels, but a modern chassis? That was the coolset thing ever! I don't know if any made it to the states, but I seem to remember they were really expensive for the time and very low production.. (further research shows they actually sold "reconditioned" Z cars...how cool was that? A FACTORY resto!!!.... and that they were sold here in the US at select dealers)

I'm still very skeptical that it will happen....they still hate us for winning the war...so we'll see.

They made the Chally as a tribute to the former car. The face on the Camaro looks more like a caracature. The "face" is warped and an air inlet at the leading edge of a cowl scoop is confusion defined.

I've seen the Chally in person and it was cool as hell!:giggedy: Not sure I'll buy it the first year though...probably wait a year or two to see how they hold up.:shifty:

Yeah, but I'm a huge fan of the Chally's interior. It's Plain, yet extremely high-tech. No extra do-dads or anything, everything is where you'd expect it to be, yet everything that is there is something you'd never expect in a challenger. Gauge clusters all LCD screens, god I love that. Where as the Cramaro, the interior is TOO fancy. Lots of colors, stepping inside it feels like an acid trip.... its just too gawdy.

Challenger for me with a drop top please. I posted this at motortrend.com and ill put it in here for you guys to laugh at. What is similar about these 2 pics?

If that were a black Fireturd or Tranny-Am that opening above the grill would be perfect......for K.I.T.T. :shifty:

I like 'em both, and I think it will be way cool to have the Big 3 competing with ponycars again. Hopefully, this will end the gay japanese tuner car fad completely. Can't blame the kids... american manufacturers hav'nt offered them much, and our "classic" musclecars cost too much to get into for a 19 year old.
Ya' know, it's interesting: the '64 Mustang started to ponycar craze back then, and the 2004 Mustang has started it all again. Without the original Mustang, there would've been NO Camaro, NO Challenger, NO Cuda. Not that I give a damn about Mustangs, but competition makes better cars for everyone.

i dunno about that...we had alot of muscle comeing out of all over the place...the mustang is simply best remembered...look at the early darts for example or even the 50s t bird's...someone was going to make it a "big" thing eventualy..it was just a matter of makeing em smaller
