The need........

So we did the deed. First, after removing the intake, we gave the block and rivets on the rollers a boo, to see if there were any clearance issues,

since the block needed heavy grinding mods for the lifters to fit. There were none.:giggedy:
So we re-installed the intake and fitted this.

I'm told the SB stroker really likes the extra plenum and carb. This year I'd like to see the kid in the low 10's. A big step for a street/strip car that's naturally aspired. I think.:shifty:

No. Just shines from all the grinding. It's a 'Repro 340' block.:) A siamese R3 would have been nice. Can you say 440 small block.[smilie=2:

Tanks for all the kind words.:giggedy:
We are considering a small nitrous plate for next year. That would likely shove the Dart into the nines. But that will mean a full cage and engine plate........ which probably should be on now.:shifty: We'll see after this season...................

It is. Pretty toasty there. If we end up running the W7's someday, we'll likely look at off-setting the mc and the brake lines ............

You could always mod it like a lot of the old rods do and put the MC under the floorboards to give you plenty of clearance. Even some of the new custom rides do that to clear off the firewall.

Where'd you get those VC breathers? I have something in mind for a breather system on the Chally and I was wondering how they mounted to the VC's.

BTW: I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but that engine looks sweet in there.;)

Hmmmm, ok now I see. That's not what I had in mind for mine. I think I'm probably going to have to just machine some pieces to get the breathers setup how I want them. (think AN fitting adapters)
