What actually are these performance options, that where
availble for the Superbee in 1970 ???

Found some info on the Kruncher option. Not real clear, but stated that it was a performance axle package. Dana maybe??

Maybe 6er will chime in. I'm sure he has the brochure for it somewhere in his archives.

Actually, it's just some BS that the guy made up to try and sell his overpriced car.
Comments: The Super Bee was restyled for 1970. To differentiate it from the Coronet that it was based on, the Super Bee did not get the dummy rear fender scoops as standard equipment. It also had horizontally divided (rather than individually segmented) taillamps. New options included a hood tach and spoiler. Buyers could order the R/T type bumble bee stripe or pipe-shaped upper and lower rear fender stripes with a circular Super Bee decal between them. The Super Bee was available in a number of wild colors, such as Plum Crazy, Sublime, and Go-Mango. Extras included the "Kruncher" and Bee-Liever" performance options. Base prices fell $64 but sales dropped to about 15,500 units. Hemis were installed in just 32 hardtops (21 with four speed) and 4 pillared coupes (all with the four speed). This was the last year that the Super Bee was based on the Coronet.
Wich guy??? the guy from the factory ?

Vik - hard time tracking this down as they were dealer available items. The ones I could find mention of are

Showboat - guessing this is some sort of decal package or tape treatment

Read-Out - guessing its the Dixco hood mounted tach

Kruncher - dealer installed ring and pinion. Again I don't know what the ratio was

Bee-Liever - ????

Top Eliminator - ?????

They were for the 1970 model year and you could get them dealer installed or over-the-counter take home.
I will find out more. It may take a bit, but I'm sure it isn't some dark and mysterious secret.

Thanks 6pk, still pretty though to find stuff.
i hope you can find something more about it.

think your right about the "Read-out"
In the 1970s, Chrysler published a catalog of performance parts and suggested modifications, called the Hustle Stuff catalog.
The Hustle Stuff catalog documents a hood tachometer, which you could purchase from your dealer's parts counter. It's likely these hood tachs were also dealer-installed on several cars, which would make them correct for that particular car assuming you have documentation to prove it.
No hood tachs were ever factory-installed on Mopars. The Chrysler Parts hood tach was identical to the HT/x hood tachs manufactured by Dixco except the blue and white Chrysler Parts logo replaced the HT/x logo on the face of the tach.

And the Bengal charger that was from a Cincinnati dealer only, and the St. Louis Blues Barracuda that was only sold in St. Louis, etc.
