The first car ever owned by my family with an FM radio was a used '83 Regal four-door that my Dad bought in '84. My brother and I were so excited to be able to listen to rock, but every time we took the car it was on AM... because Paul Harvey had not yet made it to any local FM stations. We'd switch it to FM right away, but the most we borrowed that car was to go skiing, and on the way home from the hill we'd always switch it back to catch "The Rest of the Story." Good stuff, that.
