That cool Max Wedge look !

I was playing around the other day as I know I cant afford to run the Max Wedge style crossram with dual fours right know. So I will be starting off using this Holley Street Dominator intake and an 850 DP on my 63. So I painted the intake orange to match the rest of the eng and just laided the intake and valve covers on the bench. So I had to snap a pic of how cool it will look ! :dance: Ron

i love the look of an all paint engine. i went so far as to grind off the edelbrock name from an ld340 and painted it engine color in my old 70 'Cuda. i love the stealth look.

The paint looks kinda flat??? Just the pics?? Actually looks better that way, IMO, but Im not sure how it'd be to keep clean....

Now all you need is some neat, 'vintage hi perf-looking', aircleaner to cover up the Holley...

Thanks all. Actually Marty the paint does have a slight flat look to it but when I used it before it gets more glossy after it heats up from the eng a few times and then it looks great and cleans up nice. Ron
