This weekend is supposed to be good crusing weather, anyone taking advantage of it? A group of 6-7 cars headed for Goderich on Monday the 8th, Turkey Day over here. That's a 66 Charger, 67 Fury, 69 Camaro, 84 Mercedes, 72 Mustang & a mid-80's Firebird and a 67 Dan Gurney Cougar all headed up the back way & then back along 81 to Forest and back across. Supposed to be 91 Monday with humidity............Southwestern Ontario great..........[smilie=f:

lost oil pressure on the return road after WINNING my round at last Friday's King of Street race. Did a compression check and #6 cylinder reads pretty low. yeesh...
Other than that, haven't torn into it yet. [smilie=f:

sorry for the hijack, carry on.

Mike still has it for the safety and front end alignment and checking the kickdown. Then have to arrange an appraisal in order to get insurance in order to get the plates. So a shakedown this weekend ain't happening but the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to glow dimmly. :)

Sorry to hear that you got problems when there is so much nice weather out there yet. It sucks when you are already involve trying to get the Chally ready and already got your hands full. I feel for Piggy having to decide which comes first Chally or _________. [smilie=f:

Send me a pm for my e-mail address and I will send you one, have it here, he is a friend of mine. Pic will show my 67 Fury cruiser behind his 67 Cougar in a park like a traffic stop. If I remembered how to post pic's I would put it in my "Garage"

Cool. Good shot too, if you didn't know better you'd think it was a 40 year old picture. :)

What a great day............hit Goderich, Grand Bend & Forest, Ontario. I will post some pics when I get them from one of the guys. Forgot my camera as usual. Temps were well into the 90's with humidity, but when we stopped at the beach in Goderich the wind was blowing and it was perfect. We had a 63 (I believe) Studebaker Commander join us. I wasn't able to take the Fury, due to my knee, but managed it ok in my Yukon. Wasn't quite the same, but it was a day out....................saw lots of old cars out as well. A sample, 57 Chev's, 50's Crown Vic ragtop, 70 Plymouth Fury 1 unfortunately going the other way didn't get a good look, lots of bikes, roadsters coming from Port Elgin show.

Next week Sunday is supposed to be in the 60's and sunny. We will be headed over to Port Bruce along Lake Erie..........Pics later now that I know how to post them. :giggedy:

Ok, here we go. First is pic at Beach in Goderich, then we have the 67 Dan Gurney Cougar, the 69 Camaro SS, the Study, the 66 Charger, then a shot of them all and finally a shot of Goderich harbor from a street up above the beach. By this time the Mustang and the Mercedes had left, they both had to work tonite. May have a few more coming from another source.

Looks like another good weekend for cruzin, so we are going again. Last weekend we went down along Lake Erie, great day only the 2 of us. I got to take the Fury and buddy that has the 67 Cougar also has a 1980 Mini-van style, that he turned into a Paddy Wagon. This Mini came from England and is right hand drive. I did not take any photos of it that day, but have attached a pic that was in my files from May.

This Sunday we are off for a river tour. We will head to Sombra and drive up river through Sarnia. We will stop under the bridge for fries(manditory stop) and head up alone the lake in Brights Grove to Forest & home. Supposed to be sunny and 60's again.

It was nice weather.
If you fellows are cruising again, and don't mind a VW Beetle tagging along, drop me a PM and I'll join in.
I'm in Sarnia.
