Take graphics off MAXIMVS or not....

Been toying with the idea of putting the car back into a plain white wrapper and removing all the graphics off the car. The problem is that the MAXIMVS graphics are a work of art. The gold leaf work and painting are something to behold up close, the detail is amazing, I put some pics of the work at the bottom of this thread. This stuff is all hand painted, the only vinyl is the Texas Outsiders & car number, all the rest is done by hand by some real artists. The wife is adamant about keeping the graphics on the car, she absolutely loves 'em. I was thinking about streeting the car on some occaisions, but I'd feel like a goof driving a max graphics car on the street. Any opinions? Graphic pics below:

I say that unless you're going to street it full time, then leave them on. They are a work of art and they give the car it's own personality. It wasn't really "Maximus" until those graphics went on. Now, it's Maximus forever - or until it changes to become something else entirely.

SNOOK , that car is MAXIMVS !! i say keepem on . but if you do choose to take them off i would love to have the MAXIMVS if you dont want them . the reason being my nephew is kinda named after your car and "GLADIATOR " MAXIMVS DESIMES MERRIDIOVS . his name is even spelled the same MAXIMVS the way his name is spelled is gonna drive teachers nuts when he gets into school :bwuhaha:

:bravo: :bravo:

I'd enjoy cruising in that car just the way it is. I say leave the graphics. Just my.02

me being who i am id say leave it as is...like you put it its a work of art...id have no questions about running around on the street but im the type that would leave rubber next to the cop shop just to prove a point

OK, the MAXIMVS stays. I'll bide my time and build a street car later. Thanks for the input! :bravo:

Snook I see alot of cool vintage cars on the road with names and stickers on them. I think it would be cool to drive it with the name on it. :2thumbs: Ron
