Blah Blah Blah
anyone have any ideas of how to adapt a tach to work on a 2cyl?...i mean most aftermarket tachs have a switch for 4-6-8..so what would it take to make a tach work on 2?

also anyone work with 80s mopar digital dashes...ive got some ideas

most bick tachs ive seen are cable driven.....besides i would "like" to have a tach that matches the rest of the guages....thus why idealy it would be nice to grab a guage set from a car and re-position them to my own will

How about one of those sets from the big Honda Goldwings and the like? I think I remember seeing speedo, tach, water temp and maybe even oil pressure?

Do you think it will actually run long enough to make it to a shift point?:hmmm: Snocat stuff will work.

Well, if ya take a regular tach.... you can fabricate a digital tach using the internals of the mini tach.

I'm thinking you cut a window into the face of a mechanical tach and fit the little LCD into that window.... could look good...

OR... just throwing ideas out here....cut the window into a big speedometer .... one guage in the middle of the dash.... then two little ones on either side for temp and oil pressure.....

All these instructions from the guy that asked how to change his starter.:bwuhaha:

LOL You're right...I deserve that...lol

It's just that when it comes to cars I don't know what happens...I get all stupid. Believe it or not, i'm pretty handy with other stuff like these tube amps and preamps I built from a kit and modified like crazy (see? not EVERYTHING has to stay original... :p ) but for some reason, changing a starter or taking a muffler off (stay tuned for the "how do I remove a muffler post) turns me into an idiot.
