Uhm,:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: too OLD looking?? wow. Never thought I'd ever hear anyone say that about a car:eek: 'specially one like that[smilie=i:
By the way, the OLD cars had style and character......newer cars all look the bloody same :D

i like old cars, don't get me wrong. but that just looks too boxy and square. sorry, i don't like it. but i LOVE old cars, and you're right that new cars all look the same. espically with all these damn imports.

Just because its old doesnt mean its slow. Weight to horsepower ratio goes right off the scale on one of those.

Who said it's slow???

Come to poppa?....:wtf: Expecting?

Damn fine ride right there, all subtle and mean looking. The coil is incorrect, deduct 2 ten pence from the price. :D

I complimented him on the car and politely asked if he had any high-res pictures suitable for desktop wallpapers. I got this reply:

These are the best pictures i have. they were taken with an expensive camera.

i'm sorry but that is the most bone-headed remark I've ever heard. So because the camera is EXPENSIVE the pictures should be good. I guess that's why a PAINSTAKING restoration has such a PAINFULLY incorrect coil sitting right on top of the motor..

Yeah....better it has a 40 year old "correct" coil that doesn't work and was purchased off of ebay for seven-hundred dollars....:D

Car doesn't actually need to run does it?

:bwuhaha: No coils are only 300 bucks...RADIOS are 700 dollars... Hey...if it's a PAINSTAKING resto they could at leas tpaint it black...jeez!

It IS sorta tacky looking here and there for that kind of money. The reason he wont divvy up on better pics is so that you cant really TELL its tacky.:hmmm:

I think it's the laziness factor. Kinda sounds like one of those snobs you see at car shows that won't give you the time of day if you try to talk to him about his car. That being said, I'd still trade both of my vehicles for that one in a heartbeat :shifty: I think I could daily-drive a cross ram :D Might be a bit tricky in the snow though.
