Hadda pretty good day - sold a bunch of stuff I had left from the Dart Sport and got the following for the Demon:

Sway bar.

'71 interior sail panels

New tail -lights

PS pump c/w cooler

Oh yeah - and an 8track player.....

Want some polka tapes? Good stuff like the six fat dutchmen and whoopy john willfart. [smilie=e:

Swap meets is fun. [smilie=e: [smilie=c:

Barney and myself spent the day at a huge swap meet today, bargins were found. [smilie=::

Yes it was nice spending time together. We froze our testes off in 40 degree temps with a 25 mph north wind....but we had fun. [smilie=w:
Barney rented an electric scooter to help him get around but unfortunately it broke down early on, non the less he grabbed his cane and continued on. The stubborn bastard. :D

Good to hear that hes up and around some. Hope you guys get your testes put back on. [smilie=e:

They are just getting started around here. Seems kinda funny that us car nuts love spending the day walking around looking at used car parts by I guess thats why they call us "Car Nuts" ! [smilie=e: Ron

Why is that? [smilie=e:
The Swap should be one day only because the Sunday is always real slow - and they won't let you pack up early. So you waste a day hanging around for nothing - I sold $24.00 worth of junk. I don't get much in the way of days off, particularily in the Spring & Summer, so I hated to waste it sitting around doing nothing.

XL: given my current finances, I am not actively looking for anything right now. If the right deal on the right item comes along, I will snag it if I have the cash. The swap meet was good because I had just sold some stuff and the tail-lights/sway bar was there at the right price.

Picked something else up today for the Demon that I have never seen before. I have always disliked the non-ralley A body dash mostly because the cheap fake plastic woodgrain looks particularily bad in those cars. This one is black, and the molded pattern is a fake leather as opposed to woodgrain. I think it will look much better in the Demon's all-black interior. Got it for $25 - a little steep considering I rip the normal ones outta cars for $5, but the guy knew it was not a run-of-the-mill dash.

That is a MUCH better dash. I hate em too. ;)
Good score on the 8 track.
Glad you had a good time. Hope it was relaxing for you.

Do they lock you into a contract for a swap spot? [smilie=e: I mean really, whats to keep you from going home if thats your wish? [smilie=e:

I participate in one swap a year, all mopar and free of charge. [smilie=c: I realize most swaps require a fee for the space but if I wanna pack up and leave...feck 'em.

BTW that gauge cluster is more fitting for a Demon indeed. [smilie=e:

Trouble is Beeper - I don't think you would be welcome to return as a vendor in upcoming years if you don't follow the rules. [smilie=e:

I know they keep tabs on vendors because they email me every year to see if I'm interested in coming back.

I guess I can't bitch too much - their event - their rules. Besides, they are real nice folks otherwise -
