fwender looks more like charger than sbird. check on dodge-charger.com they should be able to id for sure.\

Yep. I'd say without question, that's a Daytona fender and not a Superbird fender.

I don't know about the scoop. I didn't think they were plastic.

are DAYTONA fenders the same as the CHARGER fender ? or are SUPERBIRD & DAYTONA fenders only for their own body style ?

i know they use a 70 CORONET fenders when making the clones , and i think they have to be extended , right ?

then what is the differance between a SUPERDIRD fender and a DAYTONA fender ?

Jodaddy1 , do you have a link for dodge-charger.com ?

thanks :bravo:

The fenders for the 69 Daytona are actually '70 Charger fenders. So is the hood. I read that somewhere. I believe the 70 'Bird fenders were modified Runner fenders? That's just a guess though. I have looked more into the Daytonas then the 'Birds.

Daytona fenders are modified 70 charger fenders
bird fenders are hybrid coronet/rr fenders

Go to the aero cars section.

Daytona fenders are PROTOTYPE 70 charger fenders-no side marker hole. The side marker (reflector) was in the lower valance. SuperBird Fenders are modified 70 Coronet fenders; Bottom modified for 'Bird lower valance, and top mildly modified for match to nosecone. Photo could be SuberBird fender, but NOT Daytona fender
