stripping undercoating . whats the best way ?

what is best method to strip undercoating , mainly on the inner fender , im doing the whole car but on the inner fender/underside i dont want to use anything that adds heat because the fenders are finnidhed paint .

I did mine the hardway. I had stoneguard about a half inch thick and sandblasted them. MISTAKE.......... Was told afterward to soak a rag/towel in varsol, cover the inner fender, leave it for a day and I could have scraped it off with a putty knife. I had my inner fender off at the time.
