Don't know whether many people watched the news about the terror attack that was thwarted in Strathroy this week, but it happened just around the block from my house where my one son and daughter with her husband and son and step daughter were in the house. My daughter grandson and step grand daughter had walked by the scene minutes before everything went down. My wife and I were 6 hours away camping at the time. Glad that the multiple Police forces used info from the FBI to eliminate the threat to a larger public place with only the extremist that suffered the ultimate penalty. It is too bad that someone had to die but at least it was only the source and not more innocents. There is apparently a link in London that is also being investigated but there is no word on what that is.

Goes to prove that you just don't know who could link themselves to radicals like ISIS.

Glad that this one was thwarted but where next? People stay safe and watchful out there.

Close to home... makes one look a little closer at what's going on in the world and around them.

I guess that once the tip from the FBI was verified, they wasted no time dealing with it. Kudos to all the agencies involved.

True enough, but the would-be Canadian terrorist was a 24-year-old white kid whose name was "Aaron Driver" rather than the "Gnlakuh Mdzabbah Mohammed Llama Fuhkar" one would expect.
