Scott Steckly and the No. 22 Canadian Tire Dodge took the checkered flag in theVelocity Prairie Thunder 250 that ran this past week at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
With the win, Steckly not only became the first repeat winner in the 2015 Canadian Tire Series, he took over the lead in the driver standings, four points ahead of Jason Hathaway.
As was true last weekend, when Steckly won the Alberta Has Energy 300, he was the top qualifier. But this weekend, he had to fight for the lead with Andrew Ranger in the No. 27 Mopar Pennzoil Dodge and L.P. Dumoulin in the No. 47 WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare Dodge. Hathaway, who finished second in the race, was the only non-Dodge driver to have the lead and he led for just 12 laps of the 250-lap event. (...) →
