Squirrel Fail.....

Fuggin squirrels. 
Tenacious little buggers they are. Got tired of 'em eating all the bird food so I attached one of those "lampshade" collars from the vet around the pole. Then I watched two of them doing backflips trying to get around it. The pole is part of our clothes line and we have a basket full of clothespins on one of the lines.....whilst doing the backflips in a vain attempt to get at the feeder one of the squirrels grabbed ahold of the basket and rode it like a zip line till his forward progress halted and he just hung there upside down for a bit, perplexed. I damn near fell off the deck I was laughing so hard.

You need to set up the camera....That would be friggin funny as hell to watch....

They are tough as hell, too.
The dog will get one stuck in a lone tree out in the yard, so I'll go out, toss a few sticks at it and watch it bail out of the tree.[smilie=f:
They make a heck of a "thud" when they hit the ground, but it never seems to hurt them, they just scramble (with the dog in pursuit) to the next tree and sit there and chatter.
Dunno' what would happen if the dog ever actually CAUGHT one.

I think I'm pleasurin' myself but I'm just
Friend of mine had one get inside the walls of his house. And no he didn't find out because of the noise. We pulled all the drywall off one wall and had to let it air our for nearly a week - even after he hit it with bleach and all sorts of other fun chemicals.

my old cherry tree maxx climbed he treed one way way up high 30+ feet up..with the dog trying to figure out how to get higher than the 10 feet he was allready at..the squirel bailed for the neighbors trees ..didnt get enuf jump and splated there tin roof of there shed..sounded like a foul softball takeing out the roof of a car..bugger simply bounced bailed up onto the fence and high tailed it dog on his heels
