spot the flaws....

Recent Professional Restoration. Drive it Daily or Show it on Weekends, a Real Head Turner. Runs, Drives, Looks and Sounds Great! Paint is Excellent, Interior is good, Brakes and Steering are good. Chrome is fair.
Shouldn't it all be excellent after a restoration? Also, what happened to the driver's side rear marker light? The spare tire well looks pretty muddy from the underside and the overspray on the gas tank looks pretty awful too.

My e-mail to the seller:
What happened to the driver's side rear marker light? And is there pictures from inside the trunk? I'd be skeptical looking from the bottom. The shoddy overspray on the gas tank is a bit of a red flag.

Exhaust exit's in the wrong place...
Hood pins are in the wrong place...
underside looks like spray on bedliner...
Missing a marker light...
'70-'71 tail lights!!!!
And the best for last....
The only true original "G" code 340 in the world...

Definition of Restoration:a return of something to a former, original, normal, or unimpaired condition, a reconstruction or reproduction of an ancient building, extinct animal, or the like, showing it in its original state.

That is part of the definition that applies here, I always thought a restoration meant making it look like it did when it was brand new. I also understand a "day 2 restoration" when the car was taken home and modified with wheels, headers, a bigger carb etc. I think people that advertise there stuff as restored should get the definition of the word before they use it.

Modified is not restored, and never will be, just like the kid at work that "restored" his 87 Crapmaro w/ a 305 that has, get this, a 750 CFM Holley, and a 292 dur .512 lift cam. overkill comes to mind.

boom diggity, that's almost 7/8ths of a cam!

oh yeah, the e-brake handle is bent/cracked, since we're calling it restored.

I'm not sure who sent that question but at least they got a reply. Also, the VIN decodes as a '72 so who knows what somebody has done to that thing.

ooh--- I know! I know! the heater controls are spray painted black, everyone knows Ma Mopar used a silver sharpie for the letters.

the woodgrain (shelf liner) ain't taking home no prizes either.

Again, it's a cool car that I'd love to have and drive. It's just the greedy bastards that makes it fun to pick apart.
