This new photo of the next-generation Jeep Wrangler (JL)shows itsthree-piece removable roof, with elements of its front bumper thanks to a camo-slip.
From looking at this image, it seems as though Allpar sources were right — the outer windshield frame is permanent and provides structural support, protecting against rollovers and possibly helping to reduce weight (by reducing the need to reinforce the lower part of the Wrangler).
