Spent some non-auto money today

Some of you that know me know that I retired from the music scene several years ago. Its been buggin' the bejesus out of me as I always had a bass to play. I retired my Gibson to the closet (saving it for my retirement 76 RD Artist Bass) needed something to plink around on. Bought a acoustic bass. Titan brand. Not a high dollar bass but gives me the ability to mess around and get some of the old feelings back. Ah reminissing to a younger time. Pics to follow.

Nifty! Acoustic basses are cool.

I like the stuff that the Los Lobos guys play too. Bascially a great big guitar with bass strings, but I don't think they call them basses...

Cool, I always wanted to learn to play an instrument (still would), but never devoted the time to learn.

My daughter has played guitar for 4 years or so now, she's got a Squier Strat and a Fender Strat. Now she's after me to get her a Les Paul Studio. Fat chance.
