so the details

ive been working with a friend of mine for the past 8 years..who had been fighting brain cancer...did alot of fun stuff..got my hands into some wicked projects..last spring? i flew down to reno to work on this pony a 1990 mondial t....pulled the engine/trans/sub/rearend to do a schedualed mantinance..parts wernt availible or going to be availible for at minimum a month..so he gave me a lil red alfa to drive home...well dec last year he passed on..and after much hassle of 2 will's i got the orders to go ahead and deal with his projects how i saw fit with the over veiw of the executor....thing is i allready knew his plans for the cars we had it all worked out incase anything happened...so now..i have myself a ferarri and all the parts to get it back together..as well as a couple alfas, lance and a whole mess of ferari and alfa parts..fact is i had to leave a few tidbits behind ..sure i coulda been greedy and taken more but i made sure the right cars went to the right places

and no the T is NOT for turbo nor is the car black..its an odd order shadow metalic

So, by the sound of it you don't actually own any of this stuff since it's all under the supervision of the executor. Who gets this stuff when you're done? Watch your ass on this one; the executor giveth and the executor taketh away unless you have signed titles, or they're already in your name. Though it's not been a problem, my brother was named executor of Mom's estate and make no mistake--he has a total stranglehold on every cent and possession.

actualy no..i was able to say where the cars and parts went..and what i came home with is all 100% MINE..ive got the titles and all needed paperwork in my hands..including paperwork on all the ones here at home..just as my friend would have wanted

Well, in that case no worries. It's hard to lose a friend, but the fact that you can continue his legacy by doing the car(s) the way he wanted is pretty special, really. But you'll think of him fondly and often when you work on, and eventually drive, them.

hell yeah exactly...its been hard loosing him...but he had been fighting the cancer off n on for a long time soo..in that regard i had prepared myself so i took it better than i should have...instead im looking forward to finishing his projects for him the way he wanted

Yeah I wonder why JC had not chimed in either...Shame on you!! ;) :D

Sorry about your friends passing...but glad you have the cars to finish off the way he would have wanted.
