I just ran over a
Rant/vent mode:


Just last week my special-needs son, McKennen, was attacked by a pitbull. He recieved 57 stitches in his cheek/mouth, and had a tube reconstructing his tear-duct as he was bitten thru his lower eyelid as well. He did great thru the whole ordeal, but just yesterday he pulled the tube out of his eye. Time to go to Omaha now for more surgery.

If that wasn't bad enough, my oldest son Jase slipped on the front steps of our house today and fractured his wrist in 2 places. The cast goes on next week.

I'm thinking of locking up my daughter Alayna til' spring, just in case.

My two stepsons should tread lightly as well.


AFWIW, my ex-wife is still a bitch-from-hell. Sure doesn't make anything any easier in my life.

Wow. Hope the kids will be ok! Sorry to hear about your ex problems....hopefully those will go away as well. :helpme: So how's the little tike holding up? Sounds like that had to hurt like hell! :( Hope he is well.:helpme:

Sorry to hear about your son getting attacked. I hate pitbulls, all of them. Even the ones that people say that are nice. No matter how well people raise them you can't train out instinct.
 
Sorry to hear JC. Hope the healing is quick for your son. And I'm with the piggy on my feeling of pitbulls. Like patting a cobra or hanging chunks of meat on yourself to go swimming with Great Whites.
 
CRAP. That totally blows! I hope your kids fair well through all this. did you get to shoot the dog?
 
sorry to hear about that JC hope the lil one is ok.... and as far as the pitbull thing is concerned.... i like em.... but i wont own one.... but i do tend to lean towards the bully breed dogs.... im thinking about gettin another american bulldog....
 
Hope your sons heal quickly. Sorry to hear about the dog bite, those stay in the mind long after the wound heals up. Hang in there bro.:helpme:
 
Wow, sorry to hear about your boys. I hope this is the end of the bad stuff for ya, and about the dog, you can't condemn the breed for the bad ones, that's like condemning all people for the few...
 
Thanks for the support peoples. Both son's are doing fine, just outraged at the shittiness of it all. Insult to injury: the dog was my son's COUSIN'S dog!
He bit a girl just recently, and this scumbag (cousin) BROKE INTO the animal control shelter and stole his dog out!!!

The quality humans in my ex-wife's family...

Shoot the damn dog i would. any dog that bites gets the last bite:mad: .... hope your kids are ok. the stupidity of some people - he should get the fine---ORVIL
 
I would go over to his place rifle in hand and blast the fuckin dog and if the owner had a problem fuckin shoot him too!:mad:

Did the asshole make him mean? or is it just a bad tempered dog? My dad had a dalmation that would bite ANYONE that came near...had that stupid SOB down
 
Wow JC, I'm sorry to hear about your boy getting bitten. I agree with the others, put a bullit right between the eyes. I was attacked by a dog when I was 2 and haven't forgotten the ordeal.
Hang in there through these trying times, it'll get better eventually.
