Someone try this....

Please note that near the end of the ad it states that the product must be added to the oil (1 oz. per qt. of oil) in order to see the best fuel economy. Why is this necessary if the product improves gas vaporization?

that is really interesting. stuff is really expensive. my uncle said he tried it and his Cummins diesel. he said he did notice a difference at the pump, but it wasn't all that drastic. either it's all true or they are good sales people. why does it say to give it a month to work? that's odd to me.

Sounds much like the "Slick 50" treatment that went south years ago. But then again maybe it just thins out the oil to the newer 5w20 or 0w20 spec? You'd be surprised how much power (fuel) it takes to push that oil through your engine.

As far as the advertisement, it reminds me of the "too good to be true" syndrome which we all know is the way it turns out. This will probably turn out to be another "ionized fuel treatment device" or the equally useless "Tornado" air induction device.

If any of these ideas worked the automotive manufacturers would have been all over them to meet the ever tightening EPA mileage and emissions standards. ;)

Theres a guy at work who absolutely swears by the tornado he put in his ferd powerchoke. Said it didn't change his wifes saboobaru though. Who knows?
I've read a few papers on adding acetone to your gas, anybody tried that? It's one of the main ingredients in most octane boosters, the stuff is way cheap and you can get at any decent hardware store. The biggest problem is it will evaporate before you can get it in the tank so you have to pre-mix it, then dump that in the tank.
Any takers? Maybe I should try it in my ferd truck.

It also adds some lubrication properties to the oil.
So you do both: add some to your oil and some to every tank of gas.

Interesting stuff. :hmmm::hmmm::hmmm:
