We have got to start reintroducing morales, social values and accountability to our society. For too many years we have hidden behind "freedom" and "rights" to allow society to collapse upon itself.
In the Don Imus case for instance, and not just Don, but in the all encompassing quest for "freedom, rights, freedom of speech" we are now openly allowed to call anyone anything. All these are a double edged sword in that it desenitizes people. Rappers calling their women hos and bithces ad infinitum and it sticks - first to be cool and secondly after time it is the accepted norm. A few generations of extreme liberalism has brought us to where we are. Its not my fault, its gotta be somebody else's fault. Stick a stepladder on a plate glass window, or high tension wires in 50 mph winds and get hurt? - Not my fault, sue.
This girl's past will be gone over with a fine tooth comb and there will be some instance that will allow her to get off with murder. Her mother told her to set the table one day in grade 5 or the father yelled at her when she was 12.
Or some of the girls on the Rutger's team cannot go on with life since Imus called them names. "My life is forever altered."
