Hiding In The Bushes While
So after too much fuckin around with the carb I was able to get rid of that 460 Furd F-150 for $450 which is $100 more then I had into it. so that was alright. :giggedy:

And I bought this from my brother for $1000, I think this will do much better then the Furd. :giggedy:

It's a '79 Power Wagon with a very mild 360 4bbl w/ FBO Ignition, Centerforce Dual Friction clutched NP435 4spd/NP203 Transfer case with a 9.25 SG rear diff and a Dana 44 front diff.

It needs a few minor little fixes here and there but overall she's a nice solid lil bush truck. :D

BTW does any one have any pics of what factory truck buckets look like?

The truck has buckets and I'm gonna put a bench in it and I wanna see if the buckets/console is worth anything or they are just hacked in.

Didn't they have the padded console/buddy seat in between them?

Don't ditch the factory bucket set-up! AAAacckkkk.

Nice comfy seats from a Sundance/Shadow are easily adapted to the frame and are way more much betters than the factory bench. Blech.

Did this with my 77, nice modern seats are one of the best interior improvements you can do. ;)

Ok I guess my buckets are NOT factory.

After close inspection they are welded to a homemade hacked up bench frame and are buckets out of a Nova or Camaro I believe 'cuz they are GM buckets and my console/buddy seat is made out of plywood and 2x4's.

I tossed em for a nice clean bench.

They sat too high and forward and I had a hard time getting the seat belt on and they couldn't slide anyways.

strangly enuf what you described sounds EXACTLY like a factory bucket setup...

get me a shot of what you removed and i can tell ya for sure

ive got a FACTORY bucket with buddy/console but its deeply burried inthe spare bedroom well behind my 58 ford interior as well as the spare seats for the caravan

at a glance it "looks" like a cobble job from a bench fram with bars and buckets slaped on...its when ya get a closser look ya realise its factory

cant blame ya...i snagged mine just on the rareity factory more than anything...it will probably make its way into my ramcharger
